Tartine was created in the fall of 2001 by three local women whose dream was to bring a taste of Europe to the Island Community. The casual cafe is located on Coronado, overlooking the San Diego Bay and skyline.
Tartine embraces the European café philosophy of being able to enjoy a simple cup of coffee to sampling a delicious meal with wine.
All of the food is prepared on the premises by chefs whose training ranges from Johnson and Wales in the U.S. to L'Ecole Le Cordon Blue in Paris.
